BRITBOSS
BRITBOSS is an A-Z survey covering all oil and gas field development activities on the UKCS. It is divided into 6 sections and updated three times per year, in January, May and September. Compiled using the most up-to-date information from a variety of official and industrial sources, BRITBOSS, first published in 1988, is the essential guide for personnel involved in, or responsible for, identifying business opportunities for their company

FORMATS
Subscribers can choose between a printed version and three different electronic versions. The printed version is an A4 ring-bound document (approx. 160 pages). The electronic versions are delivered on one disc containing CD-ROM, Excel and MS Access versions

For each field BRITBOSS provides the following details
- name of field and location
- operator and licensees
- recoverable reserves
- water depth and development approval
- start-up date
- description of development programme, infrastructure and contracts

The September 2010 edition recorded 41 subsea fields, 16 fields with fixed platform, 4 fields with Extended Reach Drilling, 13 fields with Floating Production Facility and 2 field with Platform plus Subsea
